We were once again socked in by rain. Last time through the area we had similar weather and decided on a campground that was less prone to flooding. We got in a walk before the real rain started and found the campground to be quite nice. It’s stretched out along the western shore of Geiger Lake with a number of loops and one long section with exceptional lakeside views.
We asked for a site close to the bathrooms anticipating the rain that was to come. We were still somewhat puddled in in the morning but at least the sprint to the shower was quick.
