Hard Labor Creek State Park, Rutledge, Georgia

We had several days to kill before service on the van and spent two at Hard Labor Creek State Park. Beautiful park and great facilities. We got out and walked around upon arrival just to shake off the drive. We were met at our pedestal by a local who popped out of the conduit as soon as we tried to plug in.

We found the many cottages to be a great addition to camping. All seemed to be occupied and it wasn’t a surprise. All had screen porches and/or decks.

The second day we hiked the nature trails and thus ended our visit. Although we were ready to move on, the last task was to clean off some of the accumulation of pollen season in north Georgia.
