Our Interstate is the Lounge Wardrobe model. It has a very generously sized floor to ceiling wardrobe. We found it to be pretty much useless. We did need more storage space for food, so decided to create a pantry.
We removed the hanging bar and installed shelf brackets. The new shelves are plywood laminated to match the decor (Wilsonart Asian Sand). This photo was taken before we installed the oak edge banding on the shelves and stained it.
We use the top three shelves for food and the remainder for general storage. Now, we have more space than we need!
